1. Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern and Arctic. The Major "Seas" are the Arabian Sea, North, Baltic, Bering, Black, Caribbean, East China, Gulf of Mexico, Hudson Bay, Mediterranean, South China Sea,Greenland, Red Sea and the Sea of Japan. The difference is, the seas are isolated pieces of the ocean.
